Julia Calloway lives in a world where the coffee is always hot, the creatures are mostly friendly, and the happy endings are guaranteed. When she isn't busy conjuring up spirited romances or untangling the knots of a twisty mystery, she can be found wandering through local bookstores, talking to the neighborhood crows, or searching for the perfect cinnamon roll.
She believes that every cupboard might hide an answer to a mystery and every love story deserves a dash of magic. She resides in Virginia with a collection of mismatched mugs and a herd of mischievous weenie dogs and a teeny princess of a teacup Yorkie who think they run the house. (Okay, they do. They run everything.)
